How a family sponsored multimillion building for teenagers in Abuja church

The founder and Lead Pastor of The Transforming Church Gwarimpa, Abuja, Rev Sam Oye has shared the testimony of how a family offered to build a multimillion naira building for teenagers in his church.

He gave the testimony in a recent message during which he emphasised that there are people in the Church who are only interested in sponsoring projects that would transform lives rather than just buying items in the church.

According to him the idea of having a building for teenagers in his church began when he realised that some of his members were going to the Celebration Church, an action he said he supported.

He said, “An elder in my church came to report to me that his daughter and another person in the church said they wanted to start attending CCI and I said to him he should allow them because I know the the pastor of CCI. It is a safe place.”

After they left it occured to him that his church had no facilities for teenagers.

In response to the need, he made announcement during one of their programmes for the need for such building. ‘ The building was to cost about N200 million . I gave a cheque of N10 million to kickstart the project.” He said..

But not long after he gave the cheque, the administrator in his church reported to him that a family had offered to build the church from start to finish. “the family gave instruction that the N10 million I gave be returned and decided to sponsor the project from start to finish. The project was completed in record time” Sam Oye said.

The Transforming Church has a mandate “to raise a people of total success through the preaching and teaching of the word of Hope and Liberation.”

Rev Oye noted while sharing the.tesrinony that there are people In your Church “that are not Interested In all these your Keyboards. They want to sponsor transformative projects.”
