Go back to your church, Isaac Omolehin tells Anglicans in Pentecostal assemblies

Popular Nigerian preacher, Rev Isaac Omolehin has called on Anglicans in pentecostal churches to return to their church.

He made the call while preaching recently at the Ibadan diocese of the church. The clip of the message has since gone viral.

Omolehin is the President and Founder of Word Assembly Ministries in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.

In the viral video he preached with so much passion. He observed that things have changed in the church while urging all those born in the Anglican church who drifted to Pentecostal churches to go back to the church.

He said, “I am appealing to all those who have been stolen away to the Pentecostal churches in the name of miracles signs and wonders to return to the Anglican Church”

Rev. Omolehin noted that the Anglican Church has kept the tradition of our fathers despite all the drifts, attacks and onslaught against the church in the last 50 years.

According to him the “Anglican church lost a substantial number its members when the Pentecostals came with a wave of signs and wonders..prophecy speaking in tongues. The Pentecostal robbers breached our communion and took away a lot of our members .”

While celebrating the Anglican Church for keeping the tradition of the fathers he insisted saying, “I am boldly announcing through this opportunity that the. bishop has given to me, to all those born in the Anglican Church who are now in Pentecostal assemblies to return to the Anglian Church.

“I am making this announcement in front of camera and appealing to all those who have been stolen away to return. Miracles also happen in Anglican Church. Anglicans are now speaking in tongues.”

He said sarcastically that if not that he would be retiring next year, he would have applied to the Primate of the Anglican Church to take on the role of bringing back all Anglicans that left the church across Nigeria. He said he would be glad to play that role
