Daddy Freeze apologises to Adeboye for being rude, praises him for supporting #endsars protest

Pastor Enoch Adeboye

In a rare show of contriteness, radio broadcaster and leader of the Free Nation Movement, Ifedayo Olarinde, also known as Daddy Freeze has apologised to Pastor Enoch Adeboye, for being rude to him in the past. He also appreciated him for lending his voice to the #endsars protests across the country.

Pastor Adeboye who is the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, had in a tweet on October 14 lent his voice to the #endsars protest. He wrote, “Our daughters will not be able to prophesy and young men will not see vision if we don’t keep them alive. I support the youth in this peaceful protest.”

Adeboye urged young people to sustain the tempo while also asking them to be peaceful in their protest. The RCCG followed the tweet with a statement signed by Pastor Johnson Odesola.

Freeze however on his Facebook pageFacebook pageFacebook page described the gesture by Pastor Adeboye as a great moral booster for the protesters saying what the young people want are words of encouragement.

He then apologised for being rude to the clergy man in the past. He also used the opportunity of his broadcast to commend Apostle Johnson Suleman, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, Pastor Sam Adeyemi and Bishop TD Jakes for lending their voice to the #endsars protest.

Freeze noted that Adeboye has been very consistent in his display of humility and wisdom since the beginning of the year despite all the various levels of provocations and confusion in the country.

He said, “Ï noticed consistently from the beginning of this year that Pastor Adeboye has displayed rare wisdom starting from the lockdown and the covid-19 season.

“If there is anything, I said about Pastor Adeboye in the past that might have been misconstrued as rude, please forgive us. We want our future to be bright. We don’t want to be derailed emotionally physically and spiritually.

“From the beginning of this year, I have been so proud of him. I did have a bet with one of my friends that Pastor Adeboye will be the first to speak in support of the #endsars protest.”

He said further, “I want to say a big shout out to Apostle Suleman and Pastor Adeyemi who have lent their voice to the #endsars protest.

“I am not a fan of Bishop T.D jakes. I see him more as a motivational speaker. But we can agree and disagree doctrinally but still agree on principles. We can agree on our stance on humanity. I am appreciative of Bishop TD Jakes for supporting the #endsars protest.

“I have appreciated Suleman publicly and privately. I have appreciated Sam Adeyemi one on one. I am glad he took time out to respond to the message I sent. Anybody saying Daddy Freeze is rubbishing the work of God is not sincere. We need more of Pastor Sam Adeyemi”

Freeze then switched to vernacular while thanking Pastor Adeboye saying, Eku Ise, Adupe, eepe fun wa” meaning, well done Pastor Adeboye, we are grateful, may you live long.
