Christian Conscience advises Tinubu on budget implementation

The Christian Conscience Group has advised President Bola Tinubu on the 2025 budget asking him to put in place structures that will make the implementation touch the lives of the generality of Nigerians .

The group gave the advice at the end of its monthly executive meeting held in Lagos on December 23 in a statement jointly signed by its national President, Dr (Mrs) Yetunde Akinluyi and the national secretary, Revd Dr Kolawole Verrals,

While noting that government has always had great and laudable programmes, the body noted that there has been a challenge with implementation of such programmes.

It then called on President Tinubu to put in place structures that will make the budget a reality in the lives of Nigerians.

The group also urged the political class and technocrats in the various government offices that will be saddled with ithe implementation of the budget to do so with all sincerity and fear of God.

It noted that the pains and suffering that follow the federal governments reform initiatives are unbearable adding however that there will be light at the tunnel following the assurance of President Tinubu in a recent media chat.

The group felicitates Nigerians on the season and further urged them to be their brothers keeper by giving to the less privileged in the society.
