See your calling as service to humanity, Provost tells graduating seminarians

Provost of The Apostolic Church Nigeria LAWNA Theological Seminary Ayegbaju Ilesa Osun State, Pastor Gabriel  Alakuko has charged ministers of God to see their calling as a service to humanity.

Outgoing seminarians

He gave the charge during the valecdictory service of 2019/2020 academic session of the school. The service held at Chapel of Excellence, Ayegbaju Ilesa.

In his message titled, “a commission to effect change” Pastor Alakuko took time to highlight what it means to effect change and the implication of being commissioned to pastoral ministry.

Alakuko, a New Testament scholar submitted that for any minister to effect a change he must see his calling as a service to people, see the calling as a mark of honour, see himself as a man of valour and must be ready to pull down altar of Baal.

He said, “if you claimed to have been called by God, you must live by it so that your life will reflect what it was designed it be. A commission to effect change is a call to higher calling.”
