The Anglican Diocese of Lagos West has announced the transition of Rev Mobolade Omonijo.

in a statement the administrative assistant to the Bishop of the diocese said Omonijo transited on October 15 after a brief illness at the age of 63. He was Vicar of Church of Pentecost Dopemu, Lagos.

The statement reads, “We announce the passing of our dear Brother Clergy, The Revd Mobolade Adeboyejo Omonijo. He passed on October 15, 2026 after a brief illness at age 63.”

While he was alive, Omonijo was a devoted and dedicated member of the Media & Publicity Department of the Diocese of Lagos West.
