Adeboye leads protest against killings, insecurity

General Overseer of Redeemed Christian of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye is presently leading members of his church in a peaceful street protest in Lagos.

The protest according to a report gleaned from Nation online newspaper started around 11 am shortly after the church’s monthly thanksgivings service.

The revered clergy is protesting against the killings and insecurity in the country as directed by the Christian Association of Nigeria.

C AN had declared a three- day prayer and fasting starting from January 31 to Sunday February 2. The prayer program is expected to culminate in a peaceful protest today by churches across the country.

It will be recalled that Pastor Adeboye carried out similar protest during the government of former  President Goodluck Jonathan when the  security  situation was parlous.
