Wole Olanipekun to deliver Adeboye’s 2025 public Lecture

Former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN) is billed to deliver the 2025 Pastor E.A. Adeboye Birthday Public Lecture.

The lecture will hold on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Youth Centre of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, in the Redemption City, Ogun State, by 11 am..

It has the theme , “Justice and Equity: Solution to Socio-Economic Problems in Nigeria,”

Pastor Adeboye clocks 83 on March 2.

In a statement a member of the Lecture Planning Committee, Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi, said two distinguished Nigerians will serve as discussants at that event.. They are Justice Eni Esan, a retired judge of the Oyo State Judiciary, and Mr. Leye Oyebade, a retired Deputy Inspector-General of Police.

The Annual Public Lecture, an initiative of the Triumphant Elders Consultative Forum of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, was established to mark the birthday of Pastor Adeboye while addressing pressing societal issues.

Over the years, the event has featured prominent speakers, including former Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, virologist Prof. Oyewale Tomori, legal expert Pastor Femi Atoyebi (SAN), historian Prof. Akinjide Osuntokun, diplomat Prof. Michael Omolewa, corporate leader Dr. Christopher Kolade, Pastor Agu Irukwu, Bishop Matthew Hassan-Kukah, and Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, President of the African Development Bank.

Last year’s guest speaker, Dr. (Mrs.) Oby Ezekwesili, delivered a thought-provoking lecture on “Rebuild, Renew, Restore: The Need of the Nigerian Nation.”

A large turnout of participants from diverse backgrounds is expected at this year’s lecture, which is the 11th edition and a continuation of the tradition of engaging discussions on national development.
