*AVOID TRAGEDY: STAY AWAY FROM YORUBALAND AND SOUTHERN NIGERIA* “For he shall have judgement without mercy that has shown no mercy and mercy rejoiceth over judgement.” ( James 2:13)
Some days ago a release was sent to me from a body called Fulani Nationalist Movement signed by one Badu Salisu Ahmadu. Several people have since posted the same item to my inbox.
In the said release the body threatened a War of Total Conquest and ordered their fighters to bring war to the South. Middle Belt and Yorubaland specifically.
The author also ordered his kinsmen and militia “to take over their land, farms, burn, kill, kidnap and rape.” That they must make the country ungovernable and spill blood from Kwara, Kogi, Delta, Edo, Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti and Ondo”.
It also commands his men to take their farms, cities, women and children”. The reference to Yorubaland in particular is revealing in the said release.
Their grouse according to the post is that Fulani leaders are being detained including those accused of plotting coup. In other words they don’t want any Fulani man or woman in detention regardless of whatever he or she might have done. Fulanis must be above the law.
Their minimum demand is that the Government must resign because it is headed by “another infidel.”
Is it only Fulanis that are detained for coup- plotting?
How reasonable are these demands? How logical and sound is the grouse against Government?
You threatened to burn down cities, farms, spill blood because of actions of Government? All over the world coup- plotting or attempting to take over government by illegal means is an offence and attracts serious sanctions. If other Nigerians are subjected to this Law why should Fulani be above it? The Fulani leaders in detention for whose reason you threaten to burn cities, are they innocent? Are they detained by the Southerners or Yoruba?
You asked a Government to resign or face nationwide consequence? Don’t you know you are calling for anarchy if there is no Government in place?
You called the President “another infidel” under whom you have endured for 3 years. To be honest to the facts, there is no worse infidel that has ruled Nigeria like Muhammadu Buhari, a Fulani man from Katshina under whose watch all manner of atrocities, carnage, lawlessness, corruption, stealing, looting, chaos and insecurities prospered; a man who promised to end corruption and insecurity and actually worsen them by his incompetence, ignorance, lack of preparation and tardiness.
I am talking of a man whose government became a mouthpiece for killer squads, Fulani militia, killer herdsmen and terrorists to explain away their atrocities rather than confront them or defend their many victims – a “general conquered by terrorists.” Yet Nigerians endured him for 8 years.
You cited several places you have laid waste and people you killed. Of a truth, you have had a free rein to your lust and criminality without any serious challenge by the State.
It is true that Fulani have always been treated with special favours in Nigeria.
Your herdsmen, terrorists, bandits and militia go about like flying fowls killing, raping, maiming and kidnapping for ransom without any serious repercussions from the State.
You have sacked whole town’s, upturned communities, disabled social structure, disconnected families, brought woes, tears and blood to many homes. You have rendered the Hausa communities in Zamfara, Kaduna, Katsina etc., a killing fields.
You have turned Southern Kaduna, Plateau, Benue a perpetual state of blood. You have come further down to lay siege on Kwara, Kogi killing, maiming, kidnapping, molesting like flying fowls… But soon your flying fowls will collide with sleeping giants.
And how many Fulani men are in jail or in the graves for all these atrocities which you even have the audacity to admit and claim responsibility for? You are the only ones free to kill, maim and kidnap and commit atrocities without serious consequences. Even the vigilantes who confront you are molested by the state agents. To kill a Fulani man even in self- defense could lead to dire consequences.
All other ethnic militia leaders who resist you like Kanu, Gana, Jagun, etc., are either in prison or in the grave. Even Sunday Igboho escaped death narrowly. But the State and its agents negotiate with your own militia leaders like Bello Turji, Ado Aliero, Sadiku etc., and even pay them ransom under the watchful eyes of the Army and security agents.
Thus, it is clear you are above the law of the State. You have become the law to yourselves and it is what has emboldened this criminal impunity to send this release out to insult the collective moral and ethical sensibilities of a whole tribe.
But he who is above the Law of the State comes under the Law of God. God established Government as an institution principally to execute justice and judgement on the Earth. [When the state fails to do this then God by Himself or through Nature executes the task against a people. Thus you have plagues, wars, famine, earthquakes, etc.]
It is now clear that the Government of Nigeria – by series of singularly fundamental facts and verifiable acts will not execute judgement or justice against you for all your atrocities against other Nigerians. And because the Government has abdicated its responsibility in this important regard and will not do it, then God will have to do it Himself as the Chief Judge of the Earth, the God of the whole Earth. Because the State will not bring you to justice, then God will have to bring justice to you in your caves, forests, hideouts, etc., and even to your sponsors and enablers.
You have threatened to come to the South and especially Yorubaland to burn down cities, to take farms, rape women, disable institutions etc.
Hear me today and hear me well. I am sent to you from the Lord God of Hosts, the God Who created the Heaven and the Earth – the Possessor of the Heaven and the Earth.
AVOID TRAGEDY. PERISH THE THOUGHT OF INVADING SOUTH AND YORUBALAND. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.
The Southerners and Yoruba are suffering and victims of the same policies of Government you are complaining about. The poor farmers and villagers you are killing and maiming are victims of the same rudderless policies of the Government you are complaining about. So it is wicked of you to threaten the same poor people for the actions of a Government under which they all suffer.
You have committed atrocities and shed blood effectively since the beginning of the last administration but you and your father’s have shed blood actually since 1804 against people much more righteous and upright than you. And now your cup is full and overflowing before the Lord God of Hosts, the God of Vengeance – the God Who has declared : “Vengeance is mine and I will repay.” The day of repayment is here.
You are threatening to bring war to the South and specifically to Yorubaland, You Will Fail.
In your gathering YOU WILL BE SCATTERED AND FALL.
In your rising to shed blood, You Will Be Destroyed.
Your weapons of war will fail. Your sword will enter into your own Heart and your bow will be broken. The God Who shamed the Army of Sennacherib in those days will shame you.
Here is the Word of the Lord to you:
“The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and the needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
“Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.” ( Psalms 37:14,15)
Do not ignore this word.
Stay away from the South. Stay away from Yorubaland. Stop your carnage against Nigerians. AVOID TRAGEDY.
If you ignore this warning then you will learn the hard way that there is a God in Heaven and He still speaks through His servants even today.
