Pastor of the Youth Province 1 of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Leke Adeboye has perfected plans to give free transportation to residents of Ogun and Lagos State for three months starting from Monday, October 14.

This is the second time the young Adeboye would carry out such a gesture. The first time he did was shortly after he resumed as Provincial Pastor of the Province. Then, free buses were made available to residents of Ogun State living in Mowe to Berger. The exercise was for about two weeks.

However, a release on the X handle of the province showed that the exercise will include more areas and will last for three months.

The action of the province might not be unconnected with the high cost of transportation experienced by Nigerians in the wake of the increase in fuel prices.

Church Times gathered that the province’s gesture is part of its Christian Social Responsibility. Leke Adeboye was said to be the Pastor in Charge of CSR in his former province before he was posted to serve as pastor of Youth Province 1

The free transportation will cover those living in Agege, Ikeja, Mowe to Berger, and then to Victoria Island. The buses will take off from designated points around 5.30 and 7 am respectively. The details are contained in the flyer
