RCCG pastor takes early retirement, starts own ministry

A former senior Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Adekunle Adekemi has started a new ministry called Praying and Praise Christian Ministry.
This is coming two months after he signified his intention to retire from the RCCG
Adekemi said at the launch of the ministry that it is a divine call after his retirement stressing that the General Overseer of the RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has approved his new move.
He said however that the new ministry will run in line with the covenant God has with the RCCG.
The former RCCG pastor who clocked 69 recently said,”I am carrying along with me the covenant of the RCCG where I have worked in the last thirty years”.

The new ministry was inaugurated along with his birthday celebration
He said at the inauguration ‘the sheep is still under the Shepherd of the RCCG leadership which has graciously approved of his  new commission.’
According to him, people who are really called by God will not find it difficult in their journey adding,”where people find it difficult in the journey, God will open doors”.

Malta and South Sudan

He disclosed that the ministry already has outreaches in Malta and South Sudan.
The special focus of the church is its belief in the tenets of total Holiness, hard work, and obedience to God which he said is all that is needed for any divine call to move speedily to grow and accomplish its mission.
The Thanksgiving service held in the Church premises in the Itoki area of Ogun state was attended by senior Pastors from Lagos province 42 from where he retired as Zonal Pastor and assistant Regional coordinator of the RCCG, Bible College.
