Bishop Wale Oke on Monday March 25 took to his Facebook page to announce the appointment of Professor Dapo Aaaju as the pro chancellor of Precious Corner Stone University, Ibadan.
Asaju is the Bishop of Ilesha Diocese of the Anglican Communion. He was Vice Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University and has before then served as lecturer at the Lagos State University, Rector of Crowther Theological Seminary among many others.
Bishop Oke who is the chancellor of Precious Cornerstone Stone University expressed his excitement having Prof Asaju on the board of the school
He wrote, ‘I am pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Dapo Asaju, as the new Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council for Precious Cornerstone University (PCU), Ibadan.
‘This marks an exciting new chapter for PCU as we welcome this accomplished academic leader and theologian.
‘Prof. Asaju brings over three decades of transformative leadership in Christian higher education, and I am confident God has ordained him for this season.’
He expressed confidence that under Prof. Asaju’s leadership, we will: the university will experience Advance PCU’s mission of raising godly scholars, Accelerate infrastructure development and Expand academic programs and research impact’
