The President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Bishop Francis Wale Oke has assured that the fellowship would continue to pray for the success of the government of Oyo State.
Bishop Oke gave the assurance at a recent prayer breakfast meeting hosted by Governor Seyi Makinde
The meeting tagged ‘Prayer Breakfast” was held at the Government House, Ibadan. It was attended by the national officers of the PFN
Zonal officers as well as the South West Chairmen of Oyo, Ondo, Ogun, Osun, Lagos, and Ekiti States also attended the prayer meeting with the Governor.
Speaking briefly before they began to pray Bishop Oke, commended the State Governor for his giant strides at seeing Oyo State develop on all fronts.
He said the developmental efforts of Makinde could be felt across the length and breadth of the State. He assured the governor that the PFN will always lift the state up in prayers.
“We don’t have anything to give than to continue to pray for the Governor, the State and its people that God’s glory and grace should envelop us,” he said.
While encouraging Governor Makinde not to rest on his oars, the body assured Governor Makinde that he would not be disappointed in his quest at taking the State to lofty heights.
