The video clip in circulation which shows a a pastor being chased out of an Anglican church is a drama to depict zero tolerance for false teachings.i
Ironically, the video has gone viral with many casting aspersion on the pastor and commending the Anglican priest that chased him out. Many believe it was a real life event.
But the full video shared on Advent Cable Network showed that it was a drama acted by the Anglican Church to commemorate the life and ministry of the late Ven. Prof. Ernest Okemefuna.
The drama was led by Bishop Christian Onyia of the Diocese of Nike.
The aim of the drama from the voice over is to showcase how the late priest conducted himself among parishioners and how he was a no-nonsense person who was quick to reprimand people who peddled falsehood.
A note on the Advent Cable Network, the online Television of the Anglican Communion urged netizens not to be fooled by the clip which showed only the aspect where the pastor making demands for money was chased out.
