Osinachi’s sister speaks, says, “her husband hit her in the chest before she died”

Ms. Favour Made, elder sister of Osinachi Nwachukwu the gospel singer who died on Friday, April 8 has given a graphic rundown of how her sister died.

She gave the rundown  in an interview with Vanguard Newspaper

In the interview she said Osinachi’s husband, Mr. Peter Nwachukwu hit her in the chest before she was rushed to the hospital where she eventually died.

clusters of blood in her chest

Osinachi’s husband also did not tell the doctor what transpired before she was brought to the hospital. “My brother had to ask the doctor what killed her and the doctor said that there were clusters of blood on her chest.

“Unfortunately, they did not tell the doctor that she was kicked in the chest because the doctor could have known what to do if he had an idea of what happened.”

The elder sister further related various cases of abuse her sister suffered in the hands of her husband who is from Anambra State.

She said attempts to pull Osinachi out of the abusive marriage also failed.

“Each time we talked to her, she would be pleading for peace and if we moved to act, she would tell us no, that we should calm down.” Made disclosed.

Husband still a free man

Contrary to reports that Peter Nwachukwu has been arrested, Made said the late singer’s husband is still a free man in Abuja where he lives.

Her words, “My younger brother who has gone to see the children said Nwachukwu has not been arrested. He is in his house in Abuja. When my brother got there, the children were so happy to see him and they told him that they want to come and see their grandmother who is my mother.

“The children are with their father. My brother has gone to Abuja to see the children. But I told him not to go alone because the man is a beast that he should go with somebody

He is still boasting

“Her husband is just boasting. Before now, he told the twin sister that he is going to separate her and her sister who was his wife. He doesn’t allow us to come near Osinachi. Since Osinachi got married to him, she has never visited our village, Isuochi in Abia state.”

The Nwachukwus have four children, three boys, and one girl. Osinachi’s father died in 2017 but her mother is still alive.

Osinachi’s mother was said to have lamented that her husband eventually fulfilled his promise to kill her daughter.

Made also disclosed that Osinachi’s husband did not relate the news of her death to the family in time

She said he disclosed the news at about 8 pm on the day she died though they got to hear the news three hours earlier.
