Oladele, CAC  president: Church won’t tolerate unnecessary demand for regions  

The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Pastor Olusegun Oladele has said the church won’t tolerate any unnecessary demand for the creation of new regions.

 The warning follows the announcement of the creation of six new regions in the church.

In a statement signed by the Church’s publicity Secretary, Pastor Ademisoye Alawode, the CAC president explained that regions are only created for the administrative convenience of the Church.

He emphasised that the authorities would not tolerate any unnecessary demand for the creation of regions from any quarters.

The new regions are approved by the General Executive Council of the Church include Orekoya Region, Essien Region, Orogun Region, Akilin Region, Sophia Ajayi Region, and Pearce Region.

The statement explained further that Orekoya Region was carved out from the present Medaiyese Region. The headquarters of the new region is located in Jos.

“Other Regions are Essien Region, carved out of the present Akinyele Region, with the regional headquarters in Abeokuta.

From the present Babalola Region was carved out Orogun Region with headquarters in Oshogbo. Another region carved out of Akinyele Region is Akilin Region with headquarters in Agege.

“Two other regions named after great women of faith in the church are Sophia Ajayi Region carved out of the present Odubanjo Region with the headquarters at Ado Ekiti and Pearce Region with headquarters at Mushin, Lagos.

The president according to the statement urged the Pastors’ serving on the proposed headquarters of the new regions to prepare the ground well for the new Regional Superintendents, to be appointed to take over from them in January 2022.
