By John Abiola
Beloved, I bring revival greetings to you from our Lord Jesus Christ. May you find salvation, peace, and security which only comes from the Lord Jesus, the Prince of the peace who died for the redemption of humanity.
I pray that everyone who comes in contact with this article will become an instrument in God’s hand for salvation, deliverance and revival of our nation.
Equally, I pray that every Christian, spiritual leaders, pastors and ministers in Nigeria in this end -times will have their spiritual eyes and ears open like the children of Issachar, in 1Chronicles 12:32,
“And the children of Issachar which were men that had an understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do”
Please read to the end. You will be glad you did.
God commands us in Jeremiah 33:3 _” call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”
I had a vision after my prayers on this day. What prompted me to seek God’s face was the prevalent distress of our nation. That day, my heart was heavy and broken as a result of the killings by Boko Haram, the kidnapped students from Christian secondary school and other evils in the land. I perceived the drums of war sounding.
Fear of the unknown overwhelmed me, the fate of millions of innocent citizens, Christians and impending doom gripped me greatly. Moreso, the spiritual decadence of many of our church leaders, churches and of Christianity, in general, gripped my heart. I asked myself, where do we run to for help if not God?
I desired to know what we should do to save the situation. I needed the urgent intervention of God for deliverance, revival, healing, reformation, restoration, transformation, and salvation of the perishing souls in our land.
This made me go on my knees and cry out to God in prayers of repentance. I wept to God for mercy for long hours. After my prayers, the Lord showed me a vision:
I saw Nigerian students running helter–skelter for safety. There was great trouble in the land. I saw some group of people shooting and throwing explosives at everyone, cars, houses, and everything visible.
I saw that many Nigerian students were sent home but there was no vehicle, no way to go. Instead, everywhere was blocked. I saw other students standing confused and weeping because they could not get to their homes to meet their parents. Tears flowed profusely from their eyes.
Where I stood watching the event, compassion gripped my heart for these children. I was in a state of sorrow. As I looked in front of me, I saw a gigantic building of about 25 storey, resembling a cocoa house in Ibadan which is one of the tallest buildings in Africa. However, I saw that this mighty structure was built on top of the Sea.
On the top of this building were many Christian leaders, church pastors and heads of churches. I was surprised and asked myself, what is really happening? Why are these church leaders not moved? Rather, they were busy supervising the building that was being constructed by foreign construction companies they hired to handle the project.
I started shouting to draw their attention to what was going on and asked for help. I shouted to the extent that my voice cracked and became faint. Surprisingly, they heard me but no one responded.
Then I began to think, how do I get close enough to inform them properly? After thinking for a while, I started climbing the building. It was very tedious for me because I also had to cross the Sea to get to them.
After so much efforts, I got to their midst and cried out to them that the only solution to the problems of our nation can only be solved by *repentance and prayer, nothing else. Restoration will only come through repentance.
I quoted the scripture of David’s deliverance and restoration after he repented, prayed and asked for help from God. But the irony of it all is that they were not moved by my words. They were angry at the word repentance.
While I was still speaking to them, A woman who appeared to be their overall leader, monitoring and supervising these church leaders spoke for them and said, *”We are busy, go and tell the children”.* Then the vision went off.
Jeremiah 7:18 ” The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make a cake to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger”.
Jeremiah 44:17 ” But we will certainly do whatever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities, of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil”.
Hosea 4:6-7 says, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. As they were increased, so they sinned against me; therefore, will I change their glory into shame”.
Revelation 13:1-4 ” And I stood upon the sand of the Sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the Sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
And the beast which l saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as if it were wounded to death, and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him.”
A great beast over Nigeria
At another time, after my prayers for the nation, and the Church in our Nation, I saw a very long black mighty beast, having both appearances of a snake and a dragon, the type I have never seen in this world. This beast was suddenly loosed from where it was kept, ran with great speed like that of lighting across every street in Nigeria, shooting out its long tongue which was magnetizing people to its mouth. Great fire poured from its mouth as well.
I saw people running in different directions, looking for refuge but there was none. People were crying, weeping, wailing, shouting and sweating as they searched for deliverance and safety, but nobody could outrun this great breast who put out his tongue and drew back the people in hundreds and thousands to his mouth. I saw the whole nation in darkness, I mean total darkness. No trace of light, except the red fire that came out of this beast. This was the only visible light and it was as red as blood.
I was heartbroken and as well moved with compassion for the people who were waiting at a distance for their fate, because the beast was getting closer to them.
Then I asked why can’t you repent of your sins now when you know that is the only solution to your deliverance and protection? Then I woke up.
WHAT MUST WE DO NOW:* REPENT AND PRAY.
*Neh.1.6 -7* Look at me, listen to me. Pay attention to this prayer of your servant that I’m praying day and night in intercession for your servants, the People of Israel, confessing the sins of the People of Israel. And I’m including myself, I and my ancestors, among those who have sinned against you. We’ve treated you like dirt: We haven’t done what you told us, haven’t followed your commands, and haven’t respected the decisions you gave to Moses your servant. [MSB]
What all the churches in Nigeria need now are repentance and prayer. What all the citizens of Nigeria need now are repentance and prayer. What the Yorubas, the Ibos, the Hausas, the Fulanis, the Niger-Deltans, the Middle-Beltans and other tribes in Nigeria needs now are repentance and prayer.
What our political, circular and spiritual leaders, G.Os, G.Ss, Reverends, Reverend fathers, Priests, Prophets, Apostles, Pastors, Evangelists, Teachers, Ministers and all Nigerian Christians, home and abroad need now are repentance and prayer.
What all the Christians and inhabitants of the world need now is repentance and prayer because the happenings in Nigeria is affecting the whole world as well.
No safe place apart from Christ
There is no safe place in the world for Nigerians to run except to Christ, and deliverance, safety will come through genuine repentance and earnest prayer.
Therefore, no technological device such as CCTV cameras, bomb detectors, guns, missile neutralizers, bulletproofs, spiritual homes nor ritual fortifications, occult organisations nor nation can save us.
God said in Isaiah 13:11 “And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible”.
God said, “For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more.” ( Jeremiah 42:18).
Therefore, the call of God for all the inhabitants of the earth now is to repent, turn back to Him and pray ceaselessly. Otherwise, there is no hidden place from this wrath, punishment and disaster that God has allowed. The beast has been empowered greatly. Prayer is the only thing that will save, and deliver us from the mass destruction and wanton killings that is now at the corner.
It is through genuine repentance from the heart that the door of mercy will open for us and the hands of God would be moved to deliver us from the beast that has been released from hell as a result of our sins, to destroy us… and from the thick and gross darkness that is about to cover the whole nation, people, churches, and devour everything in our land.
Christianity is about to sink… That is if it has not sunk already. Our church buildings are about to be closed… That is if it has not been closed.
Our nation, Nigeria is about to die, that is if she is not dead already. Satan, beast and the hosts of darkness have been allowed to visit our Nation to wipe out all Nigerian citizens. Hell is widely open and ready to swallow the remaining millions of Nigerian citizens within a short period of time.
Have you not heard that all the Islamic Jihadist groups and Fulanis in the world have joined forces together and have strategically positioned themselves with highly sophisticated weapons of mass killings and destruction to launch it on Nigerians, churches and the nation?
Now, you may ask, what exactly is the secret of their strength? what/ who is empowering them? what is hindering our prayers and fasting from being answered? Why has the Lord kept silent?.. Well, it’s our stubbornness, stiff neck, sin, and pride to repent of our sins, and all manner of evil in our lives, homes, churches and the nation.
Infact, if we fail to repent now, our churches, Christianity and the nation will be swallowed up completely. Someone ought to do something fast before it is too late! In Jonah 3:1-10,:
Nineveh repented
Prophet Jonah repents, All the people of Nineveh from the greatest even to the least of them fasted and repents, and
God relents, “And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them,; and he did it not”( Jonah 3:10).
However, in this distressing period, grippers, complainers, deceivers, liars, self-proclaimed Prophets, false prophets, antichrists, fake pastors and ministers abound.
It is easy to analyze, scrutinize, and talk about the myriad of problems in the Nigerian church and the Nation. We have been doing that for years now but we really need people who will not just discuss problems but will do something urgently about it.
This is because everything God created has an expiry date. The Bible says, _”To every purpose, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. ( Ecclesiastes 3:1)”_ Even God’s mercy and grace over us can expire when we walk out of it and we refuse to obey His call to repentance and turn back to Him.
NEHEMIAH’S PRAYER
Nehemiah saw a problem in his Nation and was distressed. Instead of complaining, being fearful or wallowing in self-pity and grief, he took action.
What was his first action? He repented of his sins, of the leaders, ancestors and of the land.
We often want to experience God’s move, in our life, family, church, community, City, and Nation for deliverance from problems and revival but seldom ever are we willing to address the offences that have caused the problems to start with.
God said in Isaiah 59:1,2,
_”Behold, the lord’s hand is not shortened that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, that he will not hear”._
God also said in Jeremiah 3:13, _” Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou has transgressed against the Lord thy God.”_
Nehemiah prayed not only by addressing the reason for his Nation’s wall-less situation, Israel’s sin, he first confessed that he was part of the nation’s sin. Though he was not alive when his accessors sinned. They had died and have been buried for a very long time. But because he knew the nature, character and principle for mercy, deliverance, restoration and protection he cried to God.
He confessed, repented of his ancestors’ sins, Idolatry, corruption, wickedness and all evils as well as his own sins. The wall of Israel was in ruins which was the consequence of their sin of rejecting their God and His commandments. This is the picture of the state of our nation, and the church in Nigeria.
Nehemiah did not bargain with God, he did not manipulate God, he did not pray against their captors, he did not pray and fast for the death of Babylonians and their king, and he did not compel God. He threw himself on the part of God’s character, nature and principle for four months, praying and fasting, confessing their sins, crying out for forgiveness, mercy and deliverance for him, his people and the Nation.
He knew the scriptures, that through genuine repentance, receiving forgiveness of sins and mercy, his sins would be purged, his land as well would be delivered, revived, reformed, restored and rebuilt. The wall had been broken for over 90 years and within 52 weeks Nehemiah rebuilt the broken wall.
There is hope of deliverance, restoration and healing for us, our family, church, community, city and nation if we pray like Nehemiah.
God’s says, _” I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for my mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.”( Isaiah 43:25)._
Again, _” For thou, Lord art good and ready to forgive, and plentious in mercy unto all them that call upon thee,” (Psalms 86:5)._
And also, _” O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou has fallen by thine inquity….I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine, anger is turned away from him.” (Hosea 14:1,2, 4)._
Moment of decision
Why not start to pray now? God said that the righteous shall be saved and preserved from the coming mass destruction.
I pray that you and I shall be among the number in Jesus name.
God says, *How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation. Hebrew 2:3.*
Probably you are an unbeliever, you have been hearing the Gospel but have been rejecting Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour, you need Him now in your life and have to give Him a chance in your heart by confessing your sins to Him today so that your name will be written in the book of life.
Probably, you are a Christian, you attend church service regularly, you pay your tithes and offerings, you may even be a leader, pastor, prophet, evangelist, apostle, teacher, minister, a worker in your church or head of a ministry. Yet, you have been harbouring sin or your lifestyle is sinful, ungodly, and you know that you have backslid.
You compromised your faith in one way or the other. You have lost your relationship with Jesus Christ due to one issue or the other, through challenges, trials, tests of faith or being the victim of circumstances either recently or a long time ago. It is time to make a decision now to Free your soul from the bondage of Satan, sin, worldliness, and hell.
I was once in your shoe but on a day like this, I made a decision, preferring to die in the faith in Christ alone than to die as a Christian but a backslider and go to hell. Then I cried out to Jesus Christ, I confessed, repented of my sins, asked Him for mercy and the blood of Jesus cleansed and set me free
I never returned back to my sins though the price was high, Jesus helped me through constant prayers and personal study of the words of God, for I realized that to inherit eternal life in heaven is much better, important and greater than all the money, position, fame, wealth, property and lots more in this sin mesmerised world system.
In 1John.1:5 – 9, the Bible says,
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not say the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
PRAYING FOR OUR NATION
Nehemiah 1:4 ” And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven”.
Let’s now cry out to God in earnest prayers, let’s weep to God as we confess and repent all known sins, wickedness, and evils that have been going on for years among the entire citizens of Nigeria, Churches, and the land.
Our iniquities have increased over our heads. Our trespasses, transgressions have grown to a high level, our past and present rulers and our spiritual leaders, pastors, ministers and the entire citizens have brought curses, wrath and judgements of God.
We have brought Satan, millions of evil spirits, demons, powers, beast, gross darkness, backwardness, violence, injustice, shedding of innocent blood, wickedness, evils, corruption and lots more upon Nigeria.
Ask God for the forgiveness of our numerous sins and disobedience to God’s commandments and for the blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse, purify, sanctify and to deliver us and our land and the nation from the consequences of our sins, and also to save and deliver us from shedding innocent blood.
Islamisation agenda is real
Boko Haram terrorists, armed herdsmen, bandits, ritualists, all evils and imminent war, ethnic cleansing, Fulanization and Islamization agenda of our nation is real. Ask God to relocate to abyss/hell the beast, the devil and all the demons that are ruling supreme over our nation and the church.
Ask God to release His numerous angels into Nigeria and deliver our nation from allied forces, Satanists, all that has made a covenant with hell, and death and that have vowed to kill, steal and destroy us. Ask God to pour out the Holy Spirit for a great revival, healing, reformation, restoration, the transformation of Nigeria and the church. And for a great harvest of souls into His Kingdom.
Pray for Nigeria, call for intercessors
Pray for yourself and also pray for me, my family and my ministry. Thank God for answering your prayer of faith. Do you want to participate in the deliverance and revival prayers for our Churches, Christians, people, leaders, and massive salvation of the lost souls in Nigeria and other nations of the world?
Revival and evangelization of Nigeria and the world have been my vision, passion and burden for prayer ceaselessly, day and night behind the closed door for years now.
Please join millions of believers around the world to pray with me daily for the revival and harvest of lost souls in the unreached nations of the world. Let’s obey Jesus’ command to His church, Christians, and church leaders promptly, if we desire the whole world to be evangelized and we expect the soon return of Christ.
In Luke 10:2 “Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest”. Thanks for praying.
