“My desire for CAC is to be one,” Says Pastor Oladele as Church outlines programme for his 70th birthday

The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel Olusegun Oladele who will clock 70 years on Saturday August 30 has said his desire for the church is to be one while also expressing faith that the dream will be a reality during his tenure.

He expressed the wish in a statement by the Church’s publicity director, Pastor Ademisoye Alawode on Friday August 22.

Alawode also outlined activities ahead of Oladele’s 70 birthday.

He stated, ‘Pastor Oladele’s desire for one-Christ Apostolic Church remains unflinching and we trust God that it shall be realized in his time.

Alawode informed that activities marking Pastor Oladele’s birthday will commence on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 with a visit to his birth place, Alagbagba and Asaju, villages in Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State.

On Thursday, August 28, 2026 there shall be an Evening of Worship and Hymns at the Christ Apostolic Church, All Saints Chapel, inside the CAC General Secretariat, Bashorun, Ibadan.

The grand finale shaill be a Thanksgiving service to be held at the International Conference Centre (ICC), University of Ibadan on Saturday, August 30, 2025 by 9.30am.

Pastor Oladele’s strides in CAC

Pastor Oladele was appointed as General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church in 2014 and he served diligently for six years before becoming the President of Christ Apostolic Church in January 2021.

On assumption of office, he unveiled the three-point agenda of his administration including Unity of the Church Human Capital Development, Structured Evangelism and Church Planting.

Alawode noted in the statement that a significant part of the the goals have been achieved in the past four years of his administration.

He stated, “over 3000 Senior Pastors of the Church have attended the Pastors’ Leadership Retreat (PLR), since its commencement in January 2022.

“The training program is the brain-child of the President and is managed by the CAC Leadership Academy (CACLA); the Training arm of the Church.

“There is also a revival of the word of God since the commencement of this administration with the introduction of Centralized Bible Study Manual, Discipleship Training Manual, Apostolic Visits and numerous evangelical crusades, revivals and prayer programs in various parts of Nigeria and overseas.”

He said further that structural and Infrastructural developments remain one of the hallmarks of Pastor Oladele”s administration. This according to him “can be seen in the various appointments and policies made by him as well as the physical projects undertaken by his administration.”

The re-positioning of the Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), and resuscitation of the CAC Centenary Building Project in Ikeji-Arakeji according to Alawode are pointers to his belief in continuity of leadership” he said.

Dignity of the church restored

Alawode noted that Pastor Oladele’s exemplary conduct has helped to restore Christ Apostolic Church to her rightful place in the comity of Churches in Nigeria.

“His faith in God and the authority of His Word (The Bible) remains an anchor to which his leadership is moored.” He stated

While congratulating Pastor Oladele and celebrating the grace of God upon his life, he prayed, “the Lord shall continue to satisfy him with long life, good health, soundness of mind and continued success, in the name of Jesus Christ.”

If truly this is his desire, he should go to the place that babalola was born and meet with the pastor at CAC IKOTUN ILE he knows much about the rules and regulations that babalola lays for we to follow but we did'nt
