General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries worldwide, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya on Saturday November 29, dedicated three regions of the church across Bayelsa State.
He also held a mega crusade at the state capital, Yenagoa, city centre, despite the heavy rain in city
The dedication
According to reports made available to Church Times, Olukoya arrived the state capital early in the morning to a rousing welcome by two Assistant General Overseers, Senior Regional Overseers from across the country, as well as other senior pastors in the Ministry.
They travelled in a convoy to dedicate two regions outside Yenagoa.
The dedicated regions are South South Region 64, Nembe-Bassambiri and South-South Region 26, Igbogene, as well as the South-South 4 Mega Regional Headquarters, Yenagoa.
He congratulated Bayelsans for hosting MFM for the past 25 years and joined the senior pastors and leaders of the mega region in cutting the anniversary cakes.
Crusade
Olukoya rounded off with the dedication of three regional services, where he was received by excited worshipper. He later went to Lake, Swali, in the city centre, where a mammoth crowd was waiting anxiously for him, dancing to the variety of praise and worship songs rendered by different groups in the Ministry.
it was not long after he mounted the pulpit that the heavens opened up, pouring forth rain. But the worshippers who were in their thousands were not deterred. They stayed in the rain savouring the grace and presence of God .
After some 20 minutes, the rains, which had drenched the ardent worshipers, stopped, amidst prayers.
Speaking on the topic, ‘Connecting To The God That Doeth Hard Things’, Olukoya defined hard things as challenges that exceed human capacity, reasoning and logic mountains that need God’s intervention to move.
He read copiously from Jeremiah 32 verse 27, Genesis 18 verse 14 and Matthew 13 verse 26, as he asserted that God has power to do all things and that His power is awesome.
“The word, impossibility, is not in God’s dictionary,” he noted, adding that “There are over ruling voices above us. When that voice speaks, it over rules all things and the devil flees.
“No matter what anyone says, there is an over ruling power,” he asserted, saying that the problem of people is ignorance about the ability of God to do hard things.
“You need faith to come to God. Heaven will never reject any cry from the heart, Olukoya declared, saying that many people are not happy with their situations but have not gone mad about such.
The previous day, Friday, Pastor Ladejola Abiodun, Assistance General Overseer, ministered at the mega crusade, held at same venue.
On Sunday, the entire Bayelsa Region held a Thanksgiving service at the mega regional headquarters.
