Gospel music living legend, Don Moen, whose very inspiring legendary worship songs, messages and teachings, have impacted Christians and none Christians worldwide, recently surprised his father, Morris W. Moen, who clocked 100 years with an usual but exciting birthday celebration.
He first shared the exclusive testimony of his father’s birthday and nostalgia birth a century ago on his Facebook page.
He said “100 years ago, my grandmother went into labor, hooked up the sleigh to her horse, and traveled 6 miles in a snow storm to the hospital (my grandfather was away working).
She gave birth to my dad. I’m blessed to be in Minnesota this week to celebrate his birthday with my family. Happy 100th Birthday Dad!”
Don Moen made his father’s birthday so special with a morning breakfast in a restaurant and it was memorable for the whole family.
“This morning I had a birthday breakfast with Dad to celebrate his 100 years! The restaurant all sang happy birthday to him”, he joyfully said.
