LEAH SHARIBU: Let’s intensify effort for her release-Adeboye

Leah Sharibu

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has called on well-meaning people around the world to continue to clamour for the release of Leah Sharibu.

Sharibu was among 110 school girls abducted by Boko haram terrorist on February 19 2018 from Government Girls Science and Technical College Dapchi in Yobe State, Nigeria.

Five of the girls reportedly died on the day of the abduction. While all the other girls were later released after some negotiation, only Leah Sharibu was left with the captors and she has been in their custody since then.

There were reports that she was not released because she refused to deny Jesus. Ever since her abduction, there has been call from all over the world for her release.

Pastor Adeboye in a statement signed by him on February 19 implored all Pastors in the RCCG as well as all well-meaning people all over the world to intensify their prayers and efforts towards the release of Leah.

He charged every parent and people of goodwill all over the world to use whatever influence they have to ensure that Leah Sharibu as well as other children in captivity are released without any further delay.
