Have hope, better days are coming, Rev Okotie tells Nigerians

Founder of Household of God Church, Rev Chris Okotie has urged Nigerians to be hopeful and expectant of brightet.days just as the nation celebrates its 64th independence anniversary

The cleric made the plea in a statement made available by his media assistant, Rev Ladi Ayodeji on Tuesday October 1

Okotie also urged Nigerians to use the occasion of the nation’s Independence Anniversary to reinforce their faith in God’s sure promises.

Making allusion to the story of Abraham, Okotie who had aspired to be president of Nigeria assured that God will not forget his own people.

He stated, ‘These are perilous times . Our faith in God must become the Gyrostat which keeps us afloat as we navigate the tempestuous waters of our convoluted reality.

‘Nigeria is a client Nation for God. Nigeria has a prophetic destiny. Therefore the sovereign superintendence of Almighty God is assured. Nigeria is strong. Nigeria will survive. So Hope on. Hope ever .Hope on. Hope ever !”

While assuring that Nigeria has a special bond with God, the cleric stated that what the country is going through should not bother the Nigerian people but rather they should keep hope alive and have faith in God that he would turn things around.
