Pastor Ayo oritsejafor

One-time President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Orisejafor has recounted how he survived an aggressive form of cancer.

He gave the account in a recent message he shared with his congregation. sighted online by Church Times

Pastor Oritsejafor who was looking sober while sharing the testimony asked the congregation, “How do you face cancer and still stand like this?”

He said, “What I have not told you, When I was going to America, full of cancer, you did not know. I did not tell you. I looked normal because that is my way of life.”

Pastor Oritsejafor said further that the day he was leaving for America with the debilitating sickness apparently for medical treatment, another close acquaintance of his was leaving for the UK with the same kind of cancer.

Describing the cancer as aggressive he said the day he boarded the plane coming back to Nigeria, the other fellow who also had cancer was brought back to Nigeria dead in a casket.

In a reflective sober mood, the cleric dissuaded the congregation from clapping because he survived while the other person died,

He said, “Please don’t clap because I am not better than him. But God remembered me. He remembered my heart. I have always had a heart for God. I told God, if you save me from this, I will double my service. I will serve you twice more. And he saved me and brought me home”
