Folu Adeboye recounts experience as Feast of Esther turns 20, eulogises husband

Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye, wife of General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has described her husband in glowing terms saying she could not have had a better husband.

She made the remark in an online video to celebrate the 20 years of Feast of Esther, an annual programme organised primarily for wives of pastors and church workers.

Mummy G.O. as she is fondly called said the Feast of Esther which is now in about 30 countries of the world could not have had a life of its own but for God and the support of her husband right from the beginning.

While noting that Pastor Adeboye is usually the person who ministers at the end of the feast annually, she said, behind every successful woman is a praying and supportive husband.

Her words, “I want to let you know that this man has been just fantastic in his support and in bearing with me and ministering to us. For the past 20 years, his message usually is the last in the conference. We always look forward to the last message of the conference. I could not have had a better husband in life. I believe your labour of love will not be in vain.”

Recalling how God gave her the vision, she said she prayed for six years before she could have the courage to begin the conference noting that the feast which is an international conference with a life of its own began with about two staff including Pastor Mrs. Boluwakole

She however added that many from other ministries have joined in the running of the organization.

She noted in the video that older women serve on the advisory of the conference which has become more of an annual pilgrimage for wives of pastors across the world.

She took time to thank all those who have supported the conference over the years praying they will not lose their reward.

Several coordinators from different parts of the world spoke in the online video published on the Facebook wall of Pastor Adeboye on Sunday, April 11

The 20th conference will hold from April 21 to 23 both virtually and physically. interested individuals are expected to register on www.feastofesther.com
