Family announces Uma Ukpai’s passage…one week after his transition

The family of Evangelist Uma Ukpai has announced his transition one week after.

In a flyer posted on the facebook wall of the late evangelist, the family disclosed he died on October 6 at the age of 80.

Until his death Evangelist Uma Ukpai traversed Nigeria and the world at large preaching the gospel and winning souls to the kingdom.

The family noted that he dedicated over six decades of his life to evangelism and teaching of Gods word.

About Uma Ukpai

Uma Ukpai was a prominent Nigerian Christian leader, international evangelist, and preacher.. he was the founder and president of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association (UUEA), a non-denominational gospel ministry headquartered in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

His ministry was known for large city-wide crusades, prophetic teaching, and his focus on faith, healing, and spiritual leadership. He was also involved in various humanitarian projects, including medical outreach and educational institutions like the Uma Ukpai School of Theology.

The late evangelist was a key figure and a founding member of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), with his Greater Lagos for Christ Crusade of 1985 helping to pave the way for its formation.
