A leader and patron of the Indigenous Group for Restructuring (IGR), Bishop Joe Ighalo Edoro, and several other well-known Nigerians including Mr. Dele Famoroti an activist and former presidential candidate of African.Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore will feature prominently at the 2025 edition of the Apostolic Round Table (ART)

The ART is an annual gathering of The Voice of His Word Ministries, convened by Dr. Bolaji O. Akinyemi.

The 2025 edition with the theme, “ONE NIGERIA!” will hold on Thursday, January 23rd at the Jesus Evangelical Ministry, No. 2, Adegbeyeni Street, Off Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos by 9 am.

Bishop Edoro will deliver the keynote address at the event.

His extensive experience advocating for national restructuring and his deep commitment to Nigeria’s transformation are expected to set the tone for the day’s discussion.

In addition to Bishop Edoro, the event will feature contributions from many other Nigerians known for their call for restructuring including Lagos Lawyer and activist, Mr Famoroti and Mr Sowore.

A statement by the convener, Apostle Akinyemi informed that some other pressure groups have indicated their interest to be part of the discussion.

The groups are the Movement for National Reformation, founded by the late Chief Anthony Enahoro, and The Patriots, led by His Excellency, Chief Emeka Anyaoku.

These groups have long been at the forefront of efforts to reshape Nigeria’s political and social landscape, advocating for change that would foster greater unity, justice, and prosperity for all Nigerians.

The meeting is expected to analyze and deepen the conversation surrounding Nigeria’s most urgent challenges and offer practical solutions that can be implemented in the pursuit of national unity.

Apostles, leaders, and stewards of God’s vision—individuals from various sectors including ministries, business, public service, and the marketplace—who are deeply committed to serving as catalysts for national and continental change are expected at the event.

The ART according to the statement “serves as a spiritual, intellectual, and strategic forum, designed to foster unity, healing, and sustainable growth for nations, with a special focus on Nigeria and its pivotal role in the African continent”.

This year’s event is set to provide an essential platform for addressing the myriad challenges that threaten Nigeria’s cohesion, stability, and progress. Guests from across Africa will join the event.

Objective of the ART

The key objective of the 2025 ART according to Akinyemi is to provide tangible answers to the pressing questions that hinder the unity of Nigeria and to explore pathways to healing, reconciliation, and growth.

A central component of the event will be the roundtable discussion titled “Nurturing the Seed of Unity in Nigeria,” aimed at exploring ways to foster greater solidarity among Nigeria’s diverse ethnic, religious, and political groups.

Akinyemi stated that the roundtable is a unique opportunity to engage with influential leaders, thought makers, and policy shapers who are dedicated to the future of Nigeria and the continent.

He expressed confidence that the dialogue and outcomes from ART 2025 have the potential to catalyze a national movement for unity, peace, and prosperity—one that will resonate far beyond the walls of the event itself.

“The ART 2025 is a platform for collective action, where ideas and strategies to strengthen Nigeria’s foundation will be crafted. By being a part of this discussion, you are joining a community of change-makers who are determined to shape the future of Nigeria and ensure that it stands as a beacon of hope for Africa.” He stated.
