Dr..Kolade passed on at the age of 92 on Wednesday October 8. Until his death he was chairman of Managing Business Christ among many other concerns..
He was still active giving lectures and honouring speaking engagements until his last days..
In a terse statement, the family noted that he lived a life dedicated to God and humanity..
About Dr. Kolade
Dr. Christopher Kolade, CON, is a respected Nigerian diplomat and seasoned academic. He was born in Erin-Oke, Osun State, Nigeria, in 1932.
He attended Government College, Ibadan, and later Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts
Kolade worked as a colonial era Education Officer in Nigeria from 1955 to 1960.. He veered into broadcasting and rose to the position of Director-General of the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) from 1960 to 1978.
He served as the Chief Executive and Chairman of Cadbury Nigeria Plc from 1978 to 2002. and was the Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom from 2002 to 2007.
The late corporate icon taught Corporate Governance, Human Resources Management, Leadership, and Conflict Management at the Lagos Business School (LBS) and the School of Media & Communication (SMC), both affiliated with Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos.y, Lago
He was Chancellor of McPherson University, Ogun State, Nigeria.
