CAC evangelist condemns Lekki shootings, says “govt lack men of valour”

The General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church worldwide, Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji has condemned the attack on #ENDSARS Protesters by yet to be identified soldiers on October 20

He described the incident as a function of lack of men of valour in government.

The evangelist made his position known on Friday 23 at a programme tagged “Prayer for the Nation” organized by CAC Worldwide according to a statement made available to Church Times signed by the Media Adviser of the Church, Pastor Ade Alawode

He said those who have vision and feelings for the country are presently not in government saying that our prayers in Nigeria have been answered but we have no men of valour like David who can use what he has to confront and conquer Goliath for his country.

He commended the efforts and doggedness of the youths who stood for the transformation of Nigeria.

While commiserating with the families of those who have been reportedly killed, he said they never wasted their lives, but they have laid down their lives as men and women of valour for Nigeria.

According to him, age, gender, level of education or position do not determine whether one is a person of valour, adding that those who stood for the transformation of Nigeria at Lekki toll-gate are men and women of valour.

He further stressed that the patriarchs of faith were people of power and valour, noting that if our youths keep quiet, things would continue to get worse in the country and without men and women of valour, Nigeria cannot be transformed.

Revealing what the Lord told him about the present situation in Nigeria, Prophet Hezekiah said: “the Lord told me He will deliver Nigeria very soon. The Lord says He will support whoever arises for the transformation of this country. The Lord told me very soon some of those who have embezzled the money and wealth of this country would begin to die one after the other. They won’t know what would be killing them. God said He would avenge the youths that have been killed. He will deliver this nation.”

The Cleric said it is time for Nigeria to be set free, Nigeria is thirsty of mighty men of valour in government like the #ENDSARS protesters who don’t care to die.

While mentioning the damage politicians have caused Nigeria, Prophet Hezekiah said we don’t have good roads, hospitals and other basic amenities and that is why we need people like Gideon, David and Esther who stood out for their nations.

He urged the youth to put Jesus Christ ahead of them and never keep silent and continue in their agitations for a better Nigeria.
