The Lagos chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria is set to give a befitting burial to the chairman of the chapter, Bishop Sola Ore who died recently.

Bishop Ore died on October 26, 2020, after a brief illness at 66.

His burial has been slated for November 27 according to a statement by Deacon Bola Adewara who heads the media committee for the burial.

Adewara in the statement informed that the late bishop will be accorded a dignifying burial adding that a support fund has been launched towards that purpose and for some other worthy causes in his remembrance.

Quoting Rev. Toyin Kehinde, General Secretary of the body, Adewara stated that the death of Bishop Ore is not a source of sadness for the fellowship.

“The passing on of any Christian should not be a source of sadness for anybody. Our Bishop has only moved on to eternal rest with Jesus Christ.”

Still quoting Rev Kehinde, Adewara stated that “A Bishop Olusola Ore Support Fund has been launched.”

Rev Kehinde is also quoted as saying, “Our brother and friend Bishop Sola Ore whom we all knew to be compassionate, loving, kind, jovial and ever-supportive has gone to be with the Lord. As we prepare to lay his body to rest, we ask his friends to partner with us for the burial arrangements and support for the widow and family he left behind.

“A dedicated account has therefore been opened for this, in conjunction with the family. Families, friends, and organisations that are led to partner with PFN could please reach Rev. (Dr) Peace Goodey on +234 805 779 7482 for more details. All support will be acknowledged by the family and PFN.”
