‘…..….he was a great achiever- Bishop Oke

Bishop Ore was the chairman of the Lagos Chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria.

The burial ceremony which held at the LAWNA Territorial Headquarters, Ketu Lagos also witnessed a large gathering of Pentecostals and members from other blocs of CAN across Nigeria

Speaking at the ceremony, Bishop Oke who described Bishop Ore as his spiritual son said believers don’t die

He added also that when a believer dies he has only changed residence.

While describing Bishop Ore as a jovial and engaging personality, he said there was nowhere Bishop Ore entered that would not be lightened up.

He said he was a man of high-level integrity noting that though he cracked jokes, he was highly principled

‘In all my years of relating with him, I can tell you that he was a Christian indeed. He never told a lie to my knowledge all through the time I knew him.:’ he said.

Quoting from John 14, he said ‘the thought of death should not give any believer cause to worry..

He said, ‘if it is death, don’t be troubled. When you see death or if it happens don’t be troubled. Death is a promotion. It’s like you’re stepping from your room to your sitting room. Bishop Ore is with the Lord.’

Oke said further that when believers die they go to heaven straight. According to him, they don’t go to paradise again. It was before Jesus’s death that people go to paradise.

‘After Jesus’s death and resurrection, believers have access to go to heaven straight after death just like Stephen when he was stoned to death. He asked the Lord to receive his soul.’

Believer’s life doesn’t end here

Bishop Oke who is the deputy national president of PFN said the late Bishop Ore did so much when he was alive

He noted that his achievements as PFN Lagos chapter chairman were quite outstanding adding that what the PFN could not achieve since it was established was achieved during his tenure.

The burial ceremony lasted for about three hours.

In the course of the programme, Bishop Abraham Olaleye intimated the audience of the foundation that was instituted in the honour of the late PFN chairman.

He said the foundation was put together to help project the books and values Bishop Ore stood for when he was alive.
